Will You Help Me?

Will You Help Me?

Sometimes people ask for help publicly because they have run out of options.

Last week, we connected with a mother who had been openly posting about her struggles online for quite some time. She was trying to survive, asking for help where she could, and unfortunately facing a lot of judgment, criticism, and people simply passing her by.

Then one day, she sent a simple message:

“Will you help me?”

And that was the beginning.

Her refrigerator was nearly empty.
Her gas tank was running low.
The weight she was carrying was very real.

Because of kindness and community support, The Gentle Pursuit was able to help provide groceries, gas assistance, and encouragement during a difficult season.

This week, we’re continuing to help where we can — including helping her search for a loveseat for her home.

Everyone deserves compassion.
Even the people others overlook.
Even the people others judge too quickly.

Sometimes helping someone starts with simply saying:
“Yes. We’ll help.”

Thank you to everyone supporting this mission and helping us care for people with dignity and compassion. 💚
